Description:
Before all of the flaring Iridium Satellites were de-orbited I was trying to photograph as many of them as possible. Now all of the flaring satellites have gone, the only ones still in orbit are the ones which are tumbling. Whenever I shoot widefield images at night, I check them for any possible tumbling Iridiums and last night I got lucky. This is only the second time I've imaged Iridium 24. There are just 9 tumbling satellites in the network that I haven't imaged. This is my 231st Iridium satellite photo. Taken with a Canon 1100D with Canon 10-18mm lens. ISO-800 for 30 seconds at f/4.5. Processed in Lightroom and Fast Stone Image Viewer
